It is my privilege to serve the ministry of Calvary Chapel School as Administrator. My wife Simone and I attend Calvary Chapel Sarasota with our two boys, Jonathan III and David. We have served in the children’s ministry there in different capacities over the years. Currently I am working towards becoming a licensed Biblical Counselor and look for to serving in the D2S ministry at CCSRQ. In 2017 Simone and I became licensed foster parents. Our family has had the joy of hosting several different children in our home over the past year and a half. I am honored and humbled to serve your family and Jesus at CCS.
Mrs. Marilyn Troyer has been with Calvary Chapel School from its inception in 1997 when she volunteered as the office manager/bookkeeper. She has held the position of bookkeeper since that time. With nearly 40 years’ bookkeeping experience in various businesses, she has been the ballast in the business end of the ship. She works with our Certified Public Accountant to ensure the highest financial accountability. When administrators panic, her assuring words, "It's been far worse” are a strange comfort of faith to all who take the business end of Calvary Chapel School. She has seen God provide in supernatural ways.
Additionally, this mother of 3 children and 1 grandchild is the business partner in her husband’s very successful business, Troyer’s Bobcat Service. She and her husband, Willie, are exceedingly hard workers. She makes wise business decisions, takes care of small details that leave little room for disruption. Her wise counsel, her gracious attitude, and compassionate hearts make her the perfect person to talk to about sensitive financial topics. She is dearly loved by all.
A native from Boston, Stephanie and her husband moved to Sarasota in 2004 where they began to grow as a family. In 2011 Stephanie Groves joined the CCS family as a young mother looking for a community to come alongside. As one of the founders of the PTO (Parent Teacher Organization) Stephanie helped to my make CCS a tight knit community. From actively volunteering at the school Stephanie took on the position of Administrative Assistant where she continues to look for way to build our family culture.
Pastor Cameron McGough will finish his graduate studies August 2019 with his Doctorate in Theology from Newburg Theological Seminary.

After 5 years in the U.S. Navy, he worked for 10 years as a technical specialist for the Metropolitan Planning Agency in Boise, Idaho. Sensing God's call to move to Florida to reach family for Christ, the McGoughs moved in 2000. Shortly upon arrival he was hired as the IT Director of the Public Defender of the 12th Judicial Circuit Court. After 6 years he was called into the position of Children’s Pastor at Calvary Chapel Sarasota in 2006.
Pastor Cameron and Carol McGough have been together since high school in 1980. They have been married since 1985. His wife has been teaching at Calvary Chapel School since 2003.
They have three grown children and two grandchildren.
Since 1999 Mrs. Lightner has helped in the discipleship building process here at Calvary Chapel School. She has served in the capacity of 2nd grade Teacher, Kindergarten teacher, and K4/K5 Teacher Assistant. With her extensive gifting with small children, Mrs. Lightner brings life long experience and joy coming alongs side the teachers.
Mrs. Howey began her teaching career over 20 years ago. She was a lead teacher in the Pre-K programs at Manatee County Head Start, Little People’s Place Preschool and at the Easter Seals Downtown Center. Her elementary school Art teacher encouraged her creativity and inspired her to become a teacher.
Mrs. Howey studied Fashion Design and Illustration at The International Academy of Merchandising and Design in Tampa, Fl. She also studied Early Childhood Education at Manatee Community College in Bradenton, Fl. Mrs. Howey holds a Child Development Associate as a Certified Preschool Teacher.
Before coming to CCS, she worked several years in Retail Management and in Accounts Receivable for two family owned businesses.
Mrs. Howey has served at CCS for the past seven years. She taught K4 for one year, 2nd grade for five years, and is currently the Resource Coordinator at CCS.
Since 1997 Mrs. Eberly helped build the foundations of what is now known as Calvary Chapel School. She established our K4 program and served as a K4 teacher for 4yrs. Mrs. Eberly later "graduated" on to 1st grade where she continues to serve. On November of 2018 Mrs. Eberly took on a knew name by marrying John Whitmire. Now as Mrs. Whitmire she continues to make disciples for the cause of Christ here at Calvary Chapel School.
Monica Yoder has acted in the role of teacher for the past 20 years. Serving in Christian schools such as; Tabernacle, West Florida Christian in addition to Calvary Chapel. For the past 6 year Monica Yoder has served faithfully at Calvary Chapel School. Attending Pensacola Christian College, she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education with a concentration on Early Childhood. She has also earned a Master of Science in Elementary Ed. at PCC during a two summer program from ’96-’97. It is her heart’s desire is to see these young people walk in truth.

Part of Calvary Chapel School since 2003, Mrs. McGough brings her extensive experience and love for Jesus to help equip our future church leaders.
Becky Miller is a life-long resident of Sarasota. Her love for mathematics, accounting and numbers lead her to a career in banking. She worked at Tabernacle Christian School in Sarasota over 20 years ago as she sought to educate her children in Christian school.
She transferred to Calvary Chapel School shortly after its inception and has taught every grade from K4 through 8th. She has taught 5th grade since 2004. Her attention to detail and vast experience has kept Calvary Chapel School on an even keel these many years. Her ministry behind the scenes especially during the summer, keeps the school running smoothly through many transitions.
Mrs. Swanson received her bachelors degree from Southeastern University. She has worked alongside her husband in youth ministry and missions for the past 20 years. She has also served in the field of Child Protection. Mrs. Swanson has 3 children at home. Currently her family is involved with LoveServes International and travels to the the Dominican Republic each summer to serve alongside the local churches.
Mrs. Swanson is passionate about equipping young people to love the Lord first and foremost. She also strives to inspire strong and confident students academically. Mrs. Swanson is grateful for the opportunity to encourage thriving family relationships throughout the middle school years at CCS.
Christine Sullivan has been the 8th grade Bible/English teacher and Middle School History teacher since 2016. She joined the CCS family in 2006 when her oldest child started K4. After serving as a parent volunteer for many years, Mrs. Sullivan joined the staff in 2010 where she served in the office. During a two year absence from the working at the school, she stayed connected by volunteering on the CCS school board. She is married to Kevin and has three children, all CCS alumni. They have attended Calvary Chapel Christian Fellowship since moving to Sarasota from South Florida in 2003, where Kevin now serves as Associate Pastor and Christine with the worship team. Together, with extended family, they own Trinity Motors.

Obtaining an associates in nursing from Purdue University, Mrs. Wizeman early on had a desire to simply care and serve others. With this God given heart, the Lord blessed Mrs. Wizeman with a daughter with special needs continuing to mold her for His service. She was taught first hand the challenges associated with helping special needs children, and the impact on the family.
Being well equipped to serve here at Calvary Chapel School. She began here career here at CCS as K5 instructor, then later moved to the position of resource teacher with a focus on helping struggling learners at our school with one-on-one tutoring. She would take on more responsibility becoming the athletic director. Mrs. Wizeman's desire is to help children understand the importance of incorporating movement and exercise into their everyday lives. Being a licensed nurse and massage therapist brings a wonderful dynamic to our athletic program. She believes investing in the lives of our youth is of paramount importance, helping equip them to function and cope in this world that one day they will be leaders in. Most importantly reassuring them of the love of Christ.
