Third Grade Teacher

After completing her Bachelor’s degree at Judson College and Master’s degree from Florida State University, Janet Ross pursued a career in magazine publishing at Christianity Today. (Fun Fact: Her boss was Billy Graham.)

An English and history instructor of 30+ years, Mrs. Ross comes by the profession naturally. Her mother and father were both college professors. Her aunts and uncles – teachers all. Even her brother, sisters, and assorted cousins taught school. Education is in her blood.

Mrs. Ross became a teacher because she wants everyone to have what she had – a quality, Christian education.  As a product of Christian schools, she can attest to the importance of a Bible-based curriculum, Godly role models, and a Christian environment.  Grateful the Lord has provided such an opportunity to the families of our community through the ministry of Calvary Chapel School, Mrs. Ross continues to “invest in futures,” for the children of today are the leaders of tomorrow.
