Third Grade Teacher

Selah McLean

Mrs. McLean’s journey at Calvary Chapel began as a middle school student, where her time at the school played a significant role in shaping her faith. Years later, she has returned, this time as a teacher, eager to pour into the lives of students just as others once poured into hers.

She earned her bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology with a concentration in Pre-Occupational Therapy from Southeastern University. She has been very involved in youth ministry and often teaches Sunday school to the younger children at her church. She has also served on mission trips to Dominican Republic with her family through Loves Serves International.

Mrs. McLean married her college sweetheart this year and they are enjoying this new season of life together.

She is passionate about encouraging young people to follow Jesus in every aspect of their life including learning about His world in the classroom. She is honored to be a part of Calvary’s mission to disciple students and equip them with knowledge, wisdom, and the love of Jesus Christ.
